Opening Ceremony(개막식)

The Opening Ceremony will take place at Carrington.(개막식은 캐링톤 구장에서 실시)

For access please contact Head Coach of your team – they will have details regarding family members attending.

Please note that Carrington is approximately 20 mins from City Centre and no access will be available to Carrington until 1 hour prior to Opening Ceremony – Time TBC.(시간은 미정)

Directions

Leave Manchester City on the A56 heading for Altrincham, Sale and the M60. Join the M60 at Junction 7, turning right onto the M60 heading North/West. Leave the M60 at the next junction (8) and take the first left exit onto the A6144(M), following the signs for Carrington. Continue on Carrington Lane and at the first set of traffic lights go straight on. At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Isherwood Road, following signs for the MUPC09. Taxis can continue up Isherwood Road onto Birch Road and drop off outside the security entrance to Carrington.

Park and Ride

A Park and Ride system will be operating at Carrington. All cars must park in the official Car Park at Basel off Isherwood Road. Follow the signs for MUPC09 up Isherwood Road and turn right into Basel and then first left into the Car Park, as directed by the signs. Official Stewards will show you where to park. A shuttle bus will then take you up to Carrington. The Shuttle bus will run regular throughout the tournament days.
